Best Christmas present ever: backstory fic during Metanoia's annual winter break from updates! Familiarity with the webcomic is slightly helpful in appreciating this, but it's really not necessary.

I knooooooow! Crying because he missed River's birthday and the poem and Russell and "you say 'ho-mow-sekshul' more often than you say Jesus" and taking away the library card (*tear*) and his first semicolon (hee!) and having to make things okay for River and- and- and.

I love teenage!Star way more than I like the actual comic. Maybe I just understand words better than pictures.
