...when you realize you've just told yourself, "No, you can't look up transfer scholarships until you've finished your research draft" in the same tone of voice parents use to tell their kids, "No, you can't have a cookie until you've finished your broccoli."

(Also, when you make a bunch of really short LJ posts instead of the long ones you used to write, simply because you don't have the time to sit down and write long entries. Which is a shame, because you'd really like to spend five paragraphs describing last night, when the Flying Karamazov Brothers destroyed your Emergency No Parking sign. Maybe you'll do it later, if you finish your research draft.)

I currently have Food Tech, ICT and Physics cursework to get done, plus an essay on the role of women in 19th century society for my English teacher. With reference to the various characters in Pride and Prejudice.

That's not counting my music practise. And revision for my mock exams, which start in three weeks' time. :p

Work ethic? Not so much, considering the draft was technically due Tuesday, I said I'd have it done by yesterday evening, and I didn't send it in until three-thirty AM. Ms. Harrington's cool about that, but still. Not cool.
