Spring classes
Oct. 24th, 2005 03:35 pmThe spring 2006 class schedule is up on the Penn Valley website, and is proving to be somewhat of a pain in the tuckus.
French II and honors seminar are scheduled at the same time, so I'm going to have to work something out with my teachers. Intermediate Algebra (which I WILL be able to take, barring complete disaster, as my grade in algebra is still a B) is only being offered at four times- one painfully early in the morning, one at night, one taught by Greg in my French class (whom I tease waaaaay too much to place a grade in his hands), and one that interferes with three other classes I was considering taking.
I'm definitely taking French, honors seminar, and algebra, somehow someway. The options I've chosen for other classes are:
Cultural Anthropology (with PJ!)
News Writing and Reporting (the class that produces the Spectrum, Penn Valley's online newspaper)
Logic (philosophy)
Sex Roles and Sexuality (humanities)
Adjustment and Personality (psychology)
They're actually scheduled so that I could take all of them, which would total 24 units. I don't, unfortunately, have the time or money to take them all, so I'm going to have to pick one or two. Input?
EDIT: Ooh, and I forgot to mention: the honors seminar topic
is "Science, Religion and Society: Faith, Truth, Doubt" and it's being taught by Mr. Sanford, the history teacher who let us watch Foamy during class this spring! *squirms in excitement*
