Today I received:
-a Christmas card from ticca, which is very pretty and calls me the Mighty Purple One
-a Magnetic Fields CD from rebbyribs, with which I have already fallen in love
-a box from hannahrorlove containing a Great Big Sea CD, a DVD of Being John Malkovich, a bag of yummy vegan cinnamon bears, and a postcard from San Francisco

I got a whole bunch of errands done, including the purchase of Grandpa's Christmas present, Megan's Christmas present, Rain's birthday present, and Clayton's birthday present. Right as I stepped into the Discovery Channel store, Zephyr started playing "The Bad Touch," which I found most amusing ("you and me baby ain't nothing but mammals/so let's do it like they do on the Discovery Channel"). I also stopped by Kat's house to deliver her Christmas present, and Laura's too because I won't see Laura before I leave. Kat's mom gave me homemade soap, and told me that she had gotten me a CD as well, but it hadn't arrived yet. She was careful to point out that the singer on the CD was "homosexual" and that there were "homosexual... things" in some of the songs, but reassured me that apart from that, it was a very good CD.

Tomorrow I leave at something like 5:30 AM. w00t. Except... not.
