I'd be very interested to know what you think you learned from Qualitative Methods (not only included the content of the class), and how much of that you would have learned had it not given you so much angst.

Of course, that's the type of thing that you may not really have an answer for until, say mid-2010.

Short answer: I learned a lot, but almost none of the things I learned involved qualitative methods.

My top priority is to learn, but I recognize that to achieve my goals (grad school, a doctorate, a career in research) I need good numbers. It's easy to obsess over them, and I do that more than I should, but I think anyone who knows me can tell that I care about much more than grades when it comes to college.
