Some of the comments to this made me nearly crack a rib from laughing so hard.

A couple of examples:

I once told my sleeping brother, during one of those conversations, that it was raining chocolate, and that if he wanted any, he had to go get a pail *right away*.

He was halfway out the door before he woke up.

And:

ME: ::rumples her hair vigorously::
HER, squirming away: What are you doing?
ME, as though it were obvious: I'm tickling a fish.

*giggles madly*

EDIT: This actually amused me so much that when I saw a suggestion that someone start a sleeptalk community, I immediately created the_color_wheel. There's only one post so far, but everybody go join and post your own anecdotes!

OTHER EDIT: Five and a half hours, ten posts and thirty-seven members later, I am very, very pleased.
