I may or may not have been singing this nonstop for the past hour.
As the subject line implies, Bill is en route to Madrid (he's not actually there yet, but "Bill's going to Spain" didn't fit in the box with everything else). I got the polite you-didn't-get-the-job call from Cold Stone yesterday, which kind of sucked, but is probably for the best due to everything else I'm taking on this semester. Things went well at faire. Arachne gave me quite a bit of time to enjoy myself, so I watched a couple of shows (the song above is from the Limey Birds). I thought it couldn't get better after the pirates sang about the wonders of curvy girls, but then the gypsy guys with killer abs proved me wrong by bellydancing between rounds of the Mr. Renaissance Romance contest. I didn't think guys bellydancing would be sexy, but holy crap. I talked to one of them after the show, and asked why he didn't participate in the contest- it was because he won it last week. That amused me. He gave me a hug, too :D
I tried to go to sleep early because I knew I needed to, but events involving chores and Dan calling conspired to force me to stay up beyond the point where I could keep my temper. I should probably apologize to Cord.

sorry i didn't see you this morning. i called up to see if you wanted to say bye to bill but no answer. he's actually in chicago for 4 hours, then another 15 to madrid. i asked him to please bring back spanish (spicy drinking) chocolate, mmmm!
