I do not know what Johari is, because it won't let me into the site no matter who links to it. And I'm terribly curious, because everyone is linking to it.

At the bus stop today:
Random guy: Got any small change?
Guy sitting next to me that looks kind of like Johnny Depp only black and with longer eyelashes: Nope.
Random guy: Got any small change?
Me: Sorry.
Random guy: *moves on*
Guy sitting next to me that looks kind of like Johnny Depp only black and with longer eyelashes: *in a quietly amused kind of voice* I used to work at the mental institution that guy escaped from five years ago.

That totally made my day. That and Sailor in his pink suit jacket and fluffy cravat at the Valentine's Day party. I swear, with the pink and the cravat and the bow-tie and the long hair- if he were ten years older, I'd think he was a pimp. Skylar came back from the party with us, and he and Clay are out in the living room doing their video games.

I have so much to write about from this weekend, and so much to do with the application and the FAFSA, and I have homework, and it's twenty minutes to midnight. I got very little sleep last night and nearly fell asleep at work, so I'm going to opt for the eight-hour night and pay the consequences tomorrow.

(BTW, I have now skimmed my flist from the past two days, and I think everyone who regularly posts more than once a week has posted a link to this Johari thing. *paws at site* Let me in!)

The Johari thing is a table wherein you can select certain adjectives - wise, kind, intelligent - and the person for whose table you are picking words for gets to see what you think of them. There's also one for negative traits.

Happy Dead Gangster Day! (http://www.prairieghosts.com/valentine.html)

I have no desire to do Johari, either to fill other people's out or to have one done for me.

Well, you seem to be the exception. The damn site still won't let me in, so I have no idea what I think of it.

Just read your bio and am hoping you'll friend me. A purple-obsessed, bi, semi-UU, Tom-Lehrer-quoting, vegan (right?) fan of Jake Gyllenhaal is A-OK in my book. Also, kudos on your tagline, which I recognized immediately, even though it's probably been twenty years since I attempted to read The Little Prince in French.

Have a great day!

A Brokeback Mountain-obsessed, UU, Billy Crystal-quoting, vegan with [livejournal.com profile] shoutingboy and [livejournal.com profile] palecur on her friends list? Sounds good to me. *adds*

The Little Prince is the most awesome book ever.

Question: is your icon's quote from the movie? I need to see it with subtitles, because I'm bad at understanding Southern accents and I think I missed a lot of good lines when I saw it.

Minus the comma before "vegan."

(...sorry, I just couldn't let you run off with the impression that I don't know how to use punctuation.)
