MOTORCYCLE LICENSE
Jan. 9th, 2009 06:06 pmOn the minus side: I made a "critical error" on the driving test (pulled out too soon in front of another car, apparently) so I do not have a driver license.
On the plus side: the examiner gave me a motorcycle license anyway. I do not know why. Three different DMV employees have told me I need to pass the drive test to get an M1 license, but she gave it to me, so I did not ask questions. And the motorcycle license was the reason I was doing this--my motorcycle training is only valid for another month, and if I didn't get the license, I'd have to do the whole $250 course over again in Massachusetts before getting a motorcycle license there.
So I got what I wanted. I am a licensed motorcyclist in the state of California.
