Emcee: And now, our first competitor in the devilstick competition, [dude #1]!
Dude #1: *does one of the best devilstick routines I've ever seen, with a lot of stick-spinning and full-body tricks*
Emcee: Thank you, [dude #1]! Our next competitor is [dude #2]!
*commotion offstage, culminating in a confused-looking guy shoved up on the stage with Dude #1's devilsticks*
Dude #2: I, uh... he wrote my name down. I don't have a routine ready.
Audience member: Do your best!
Dude #2: Um, okay. Music?
Sound chick: *puts on Dude #1's music again*
Dude #2: *does a completely improvised, technically poor but stylistically awesome parody of Dude #1's routine*
Audience: *standing ovation*

TINY TINY CHILD HAS BROUGHT ACTUAL TEARS TO MY EYES WITH THE AWESOMENESS OF HIS DIABOLO ROUTINE. HOLY FUCKING SHIT YOU GUYS THIS BOY IS INCREDIBLE.

Great stage presence. Not even a fumble. Kid cannot possibly be older than ten. He's gonna win juniors, no contest.

...someone please stop me from spending a ridiculous amount of money on juggling equipment. I have this sudden desire to become skilled at something before it's too late.

Oh, dude, the emcee (whose mediocre jokes I have been ignoring to write this) just announced that it's my birthday. :D
