Earlier today, Charles and I were sitting in the dining room talking about saying things around the wrong people.
Me: I saw Being John Malkovich with my dad and his Mormon wife, and we were talking about John Cusack, and I said, "I'd do him." In front of the Mormon wife.
Mom, from the kitchen: She didn't agree with you?
Me: She's not quite that far in her spiritual journey yet. She's still working out the whole homosexual thing.
Mom: Yeah, but it's John Cusack. Come on.
