I'm not even supposed to be here today.

jedusorI turned off my alarm at nine this morning, because I only have weekends to sleep in and I stayed up late last night (watching Pulp Fiction, which did not live up to my expectations, and clearing food/putting away dishes/washing dishes). Ann and Colin woke me up at ten by calling me and commanding me to come to church, which I blearily did. Neiloy was there, which made me happy because I hadn't seen him in forever, and Stephan's little sister is moving up from the COA group.
After church, I decided to go to Penn Valley and do homework, because I knew it wouldn't get done if I went home. I can write editorials, do my speech analysis, and take political science notes at school, where it's quiet and I can focus. First, though, I got a haircut. I got paid yesterday, so I could afford it. I got Gino, the same dude that did me last time. We talked about religion (he said he was considering coming to All Souls) and Penn Valley (he said he was considering taking a math class there). I forgot to write in a tip on the receipt, and felt like crap when I realized it. I'll be sure to give him a good tip next time.
Then I walked to Penn Valley. I didn't realize that the whole place was locked on Sundays. I'd come here on Saturdays before, and it was open. I asked a couple of people who were smoking outside, and they said only employees were allowed inside on Sundays. I said I'm editor-in-chief of the school paper and that I work in the TLC, and they called the head security dude, who asked me a few questions and then let me in. Sharai had said she might come too, so I called her and warned her, but he didn't give her trouble about letting her in too. I'm glad- both of us have too many distractions at home to get much done.
Yeah. We came to school on a Sunday and sweet-talked the security guards into letting us in so we could do homework. Seriously.
