Apparently the advent of the microwave has removed the need for the cooking-impaired young bachelors of today to know how to open tin cans. I'll bet he's very practiced with a bottle opener, though.

C'mon now, what about canned soup? Microwaveable Chef Boyardee? These are cooking-impaired bachelor staples. I'd think that can-opening ability would have become a dominant evolutionary trait by now. Microwave-operating-ability is, like, a companion trait. This instance is clearly a mutation.
