That'll depend on who else is there, won't it? I don't think I've seen any of the top ACPTers mention planning to go. Although I guess I'd be pretty surprised if Kray missed it.
My understanding is that this will be a Pleasantville-rules tournament. And my understanding is that means "fastest clean solution" on the first three puzzles qualifies for the final (and once a solver has qualified, they don't count for the subsequent qualifiers). I don't expect any official scoring beyond that.
And there is no way I'm anywhere near top three in New England for speed. Which is fine; I'm going because it's fun to solve puzzles.
Oh. I just re-read the site. ACPT-style scoring but no onstage final. Hell, yeah, I'm gonna compete --- and go down in flames, but I'll know where I stand.
I'm planning to be there. Whether I register as a competitor or not will depend on whether I find the time to trek into Harvard Square between now and then. (I have activities every weekend until then, so maybe I can find a chance one of those weekends to stop there.)
