My mode of transportation ought to be a purple and yellow CBR600 sportbike. You all know the story. Sigh. I still have the license, and someday when I have money, I'll get a bike.

The @Mobile has served me well, for the most part. We're trying not to drive it right now, because it needs some work that I don't think we'll be able to afford, but it's still functional for the moment if we need it. Instead, we've been taking the bus when necessary (Seattle has a pretty good public transit system) and walking when we can. I found a decent grocery store that's only a few blocks away, which is handy. We live in a nice area, and the weather has been mostly reasonable, so it's usually a pleasure to travel on foot.

HT Oaktree Market on Aurora. It's supposed to be an Asian market, but it seems more like a regular American grocery store with a few aisles of Asian stuff on one side. And they had my favorite brand of rice vinegar (which I couldn't find in the other three grocery stores I've been to here) and my favorite lemonade for cheap. :D

(Also 50-cent cans of coconut water, which dude. That same stuff is two dollars everywhere I've lived before.)

heh. haven't been there in a while. At first it was all asian. Then it was asian with a few american staples. Neither option was compelling enough for a regular trip there. (There is a convenience store on 90th and 99 for the staples, and otherwise there are better stores for what we need.) But, perhaps it is worth another visit about now.

I don't think my normal grocery store purchases overlap much with yours. :P I cook a lot of Asian food, so I'd probably go there once in a while even if it were just Asian stuff.
