I HAS A MAC

The brand-new Macbook my aunt bought me has arrived! It is shiny and fast and intuitive and oh, how I have missed computers that work the way I want them to. *squee*

Despite devjoe's best efforts yesterday, my hard drive remains uncooperative. However, apparently Apple will do it for me if I go to a store. At least I know how to get to Boston now--I'm guessing that's where the nearest one is.

Okay, now that I have internet and Blackboard appears to be finally letting me in, I am going to get cracking on homework.

There's nothing wrong with it, it just requires some kind of cable Joe doesn't have.

I can't get the hang of Macs, but I suspect that's at least partially to do with the fact that every company I have worked for has no use for them so I never use them. I tried one at my aunt's house and felt like it didn't make sense to me. Ah well. The financial world is never going to move to Macs so I'm probably safe. ;)

Of course it's easier to use the sort of computer you're used to. But I grew up using both Macs and PCs, and I far prefer Macs.
