Laundrowoe

One of the disadvantages of this place is the fact that it doesn't have laundry capabilities. I have to walk several blocks and pay at the laundromat to wash my clothes.

Last night, a lightbulb went out in the ten-foot-high kitchen ceiling. I asked the guy on the second floor if he had a ladder, and he said no, but there might be one in the basement, which I didn't know existed. I went down there to check and found, along with the ladder, no less than seven washers and dryers.

Seven. Not one of them, apparently, functional. Christ.

Are they all the same model? If so, maybe it's time to dismantle some and see if they've all failed in the same way.

wait - this place doesn't have laundry capabilities, but it has seven laundry machines? I don't understand. Shouldn't you get a discount on your rent if something isn't wrking for awhile?
