Jun. 10th, 2009 06:06 pmOne of the disadvantages of this place is the fact that it doesn't have laundry capabilities. I have to walk several blocks and pay at the laundromat to wash my clothes.
Last night, a lightbulb went out in the ten-foot-high kitchen ceiling. I asked the guy on the second floor if he had a ladder, and he said no, but there might be one in the basement, which I didn't know existed. I went down there to check and found, along with the ladder, no less than seven washers and dryers.
Seven. Not one of them, apparently, functional. Christ.
