I didn't even like the movie all that much! I groused about the scientific ignorance and whined about the writing and rolled my eyes about Ariadne's name, and I don't have any particular desire to see it again. But Arthur/Eames is really just. I can't even. Did you read the diner AU? x.x

Is "I can't even" some kind of secret code? It's really hot, is all! And it's the characters I like, not the story they're in, which means I can actually read and enjoy AUs. (Usually I strongly dislike them.)

I don't know, I just see it mostly with people are are SUPER INTO FANDOM OMG? They (um, and I) say things like "I can't even" and "I don't even know." And I never saw you say one of those before!

I hear tell AUs in this fandom are often really awesome, but so far I have been unable to read any. I am going to try at some point, but I am still AU-shy and I really prefer dreamsex anyway. :p

TRUTH. TRUUUUUTH GLORIOUS TRUTH. No pics, sadly. The Daily Fail rehashed an old interview of his (the original of which I am still trying to find). And there's also an Out.com interview in which he is deliciously "FUCK YOU" towards Traditional Masculinity. Basically, he makes me happy and is also a fucking good actor. AND DO NOT MISS THE SECOND PAGE wherein Tom Hardy totally has a ginormous crush on Gerard Butler.

Aw, I'm kind of sad that you don't remember what a ginormous fangirl I used to be. I guess we didn't get really close until I'd mostly moved past that. These days I pretty much only get like this around blind_go time, because HnG is the one fandom I will never ever ever stop loving.

Well, except HP, obvs. But HP is a more complex relationship. There is serious stuff, and fucked-up stuff, and it can be hard to squee when you're fighting the urge to write pages of navel-gazing meta. Whereas I am physically incapable of watching or reading any HnG without my entire torso beginning to vibrate with glee. It makes me so happy. And then I get INFECTED and start writing in ALL CAPS and forgetting everything I know about run-on sentences and then I'm out of new HnG fic so I poke around the journals of my favorite authors and then BAM there is HAWT HAWT ARTHUR/EAMES DINER AU. And I kind of become thirteen again.

'Cause sometimes you just gotta squee.
