Funny and serious

My dad's mom and my 18-year-old uncle Kirk are visiting, and we were talking about the anime Naruto:
Jeffrey: Cord was chased off during the first episode.
Me: Yeah, the naked girl.
Kirk: *perks up* What?
Five minutes later...
Clayton: Haku [a good-looking character in Naruto] is gay, isn't he?
Me: *in EXACTLY the same tone Kirk used* What?
Now, shit about Leo: So, remember what he said to Justin about whether he was a virgin? I just talked to Josh, who I told about that, and he says that when he asked Leo about it, Leo responded, "If a friendship can be ruined by one little joke, that friendship isn't worth saving."
Jesus fucking Christ. How about, "If one of the 'friends' in a so-called friendship makes demeaning and cruel comments about the other, that friendship isn't worth saving"? How deluded was I to think this person was worth one second of my time?
Also, I have a scarf. It's purple with orange flames, and I loff it muchly.

Re: leo
Date: 2005-01-10 09:45 pm (UTC)he told me he had changed
since the week he had been here last
you know, for some reason, i doubt it....the kind of change he talks about is....not something to take place in a week.

Re: leo

Re: leo
Date: 2005-01-11 01:11 pm (UTC)That'll be nine, counting me and my dad. Um, you'll all have transportation to and from the fest, correct? And your own funds for eats?
Maybe I should contact the Damento list and see who's in charge of housing. Hmm. *ponders* Although it would be damn fun to sleep in a big pile with all you guys. I suppose it partly depends on whether Bill's coming with, because if he is, we won't be staying with Jeffrey. (Ex-husband+new husband=disaster, in almost all cases.) Don't worry, we'll work something out.
